The other major cause reported were blackouts due to heavy loads on the aging grid system. The HVAC version of the box is made for a simple 6 wire change over that will PREVENT BOTH of these. You can run your A/C on its lowest setting and still see a SUBSTANTIAL savings on your electric bill. It can take 40% of the load off the grid system thus preventing blackouts.
